Our Story
The Custom Ink story began in 1999 when three former college classmates got the bug to start a business about a year after graduating. Co-founder and CEO Marc Katz was hard at work in a Wall Street job that he says “didn’t have a lot of heart” and was itching to do something entrepreneurial and meaningful.
After spending long hours creating the customink.com website, it finally went live and has been working ever since to bring our customers together. After being an online company for almost 19 years, Custom Ink expanded into stores to become a part of the communities we were helping bring together.
What sets us apart? It’s our commitment to helping our communities express what brings them together. We’re not about just ordering custom products, we truly believe custom apparel can ignite a sense of belonging and connection.
