For David Waldman, the owner of Rojos Roastery, spring always signaled a welcome change of season, with everyone celebrating an earlier sunrise, longer daylight and warmer days.
“Our shop vibrated with energy. There was a true customer-barista interaction: eye-contact, smiles, the casual back-and-forth banter exchanging pleasantries and talk of new jobs, graduate programs, or traveling abroad,” Waldman said.
