Family-fun activities, giveaways and in-store promotions this Sunday, May 5th 2019.
Princeton, NJ, May 1, 2019– Palmer Square will be transformed into a magical kingdom complete with princesses, superheroes, shopping and best of all, time with Mom. The 2nd annual, Mom and Me Princess and Superhero shopping Spree will take place this Sunday, May 5,2019 from 12pm – 3pm around the Square. Attendees will be collecting prizes, participating in exciting activities and shopping competitive promotions. This family friendly event will also include a photobooth, live music and a meet-and-greet with princess and superhero characters.
All the characters appearing at the event are volunteers working with the Mercer County chapter of the Sunshine Foundation. “We are thrilled to be a part of this event for the second year,” said Cathy Dicostanzo, President of the Mercer County chapter of the Sunshine Foundation. “Our mission is to support children with less fortunate circumstances,” she mentioned. Donations can be made when registering online or at the check-in table the day of, Palmer Square Management will also make a donation to the Sunshine Foundation following the event. “We are proud and honored to be able to host such a fun event for so many local families while also supporting the Sunshine Foundation so that they can achieve their goals and bring happiness to local special needs children,” said Jaime Volkert, Director of Marketing for Palmer Square.
Retailers on the Square will be participating in various ways, guests who register in advance will receive their “Map of the Kingdom,” to use as their guide for the day. Lace Silhouettes will be handing out tiaras and superhero masks, Highbar Boutique will be gifting bracelets, Princeton Floral offers bows and glitter tattoos, Salon Pure will be offering complimentary hair color streaks, demonstrations, book readings and other great activities will be offered in select stores and so much more.
Both the Yankee Doodle Tap Room and Princeton Soup & Sandwich Co. are including a complimentary item with purchase so guests should plan on having lunch while they shop. They will also enjoy other sweet deals such as Thomas Sweet who is offering 10% OFF and complimentary treats while supplies last.
RSVP’s are necessary and donations can be made to the Mercer County Chapter of the Sunshine Foundation online or on the day of the event. The Sunshine Foundation’s Operation Dreamlift is May 7th, “because of events like this we are able to bring a plane of special needs children to Disney for an adventure of their life,” Dicostanzo added!
The first 200 guests of the event will receive a Palmer Square shopping bag at check in.
