the holidays are almost here, and so is pie season! 🥧

• pre-order full thanksgiving pies (November 1-November 24): to help make your celebrations even sweeter, maman is offering pre-orders for their classic holiday pies, including: classic pecan pie, pumpkin pie with whipped mascarpone cream cheese, and spiced apple crumb pie. you can place your order via email starting nov 1st, or via website after nov 15th. pickup will be available at maman from nov 15th to nov 27th. for all delivery orders placed between nov 1st and 21st, they’re also waiving the delivery minimum for pie orders!
• in-store mini pies (November 23-November 27): maman is also offering mini pies in-store and via the maman app, perfect for those who want a personal treat or something to share! these individual pies, serving 1-2 people, are available in three delicious flavors: classic pecan pie, pumpkin pie with whipped mascarpone cream cheese, and spiced apple crumb pie. don’t miss out on this tasty thanksgiving treat– available exclusively in-store or through the maman app!

Our Story

On any given day of the week, maman welcomes sleepy college students, local celebrities, moms on-the-go, and reunited friends into one of our many locations. Greeted by the scent of culinary splendor that wafts through the space, our guests step into an experience that engages all the senses: rustic décor at every turn, the aroma and comfort of cuisines inspired by family traditions, and the highest quality, locally sourced ingredients. Maman founders Benjamin Sormonte and Elisa Marshall have brought to life a melding of their earliest childhood experiences in the kitchen and molded a touching homage to their mothers from the South of France and North America. Maman, after all, means “mother” in French.

What started as an independent Soho café and bakery in October 2014 is now a leading lifestyle brand that boasts cafés across North America, as well as original retail items so you can ‘take maman home’ with you. We host coveted events for high-end designers and collaborate with leading brands for partnerships and activations. We also play host to a wide variety of engaging workshops, including naked cake decoration, cheese fondue tutorials, and floral arrangement masterclasses.

Open seven days a week, maman offers a selection of delicious baked goods, coffee, fresh breakfast and lunch options, as well as seated breakfast and lunch. We serve a broad menu of delicious breakfast options, hearty farm fresh salads, quiches, sandwiches, and, of course, pastries and sweets. You can’t leave without trying our famous nutty chocolate chip cookie, named one of  ‘Oprah’s Favorite Things’ for 2017 and one of the best chocolate chip cookies in New York from NY Magazine.
