Spring Break! You don’t have to be a kid (or a co-ed) to get excited for Spring Break. It’s the high point after a long, dull winter. A brief, sun-soaked respite from this season’s bleak, grey days in the Northeast. Time to pack those sunnies, grab an Uber to the airport, and get some sand between the toes. But before I hop on the plane, I’ve got to take a different kinda trip – an afternoon shopping on Palmer Square to make sure my bags will be packed with the vacay essentials. Here’s what’s on my list:
- Duh! Thanks to those Pure Barre classes, I am actually feeling bikini-ready, and it just so happens Lace Silhouettes JUST started carrying swimwear. (Ladies, take note: this stuff is bra-sized, for A-H cups. Serious style, and serious support? Hang on, did I just see a unicorn?)
- Sunnies, as mentioned. Morgenthal Frederics has the best selection in the area, but the big problem is: do I go with the sporty aviators or the retro-chic cat eye frames?
- Beachy clothes & coverups galore. Did you hear that there’s a Roller Rabbit pop up on Palmer Square? It’s a must! Just stepping into the shop turns on the summery vibes. Picked up a few flowy tunics that I can wear on the sand and to casual dinners.
- The perfect carry-on. I’m not wasting time with checked bags, so I need a carry-on that looks as stylish as what I’ll be packing in it! A quick stop at Botari and I’ll be all set… and might also be leaving the shop with that cute Kate Spade wallet, while I’m at it.
And with that, I’m vacation ready! After a little sun and sand I’ll be back in Princeton (with a killer tan.) See you on the Square!
